Holiday Food Drive

Celebrate our 10th Anniversary by helping us provide for those in need during the holiday season.

From the Monday before Thanksgiving week, 11/13, until the Wednesday before Christmas, 12/20, in the holiday spirit, we provide assistance to Gather to help build a hunger-free community.

Donations sought are healthy nonperishable food items or tax-deductible checks made payable to Gather, which can then purchase needed items, usually at lower prices than are available to the general public.

How to Participate:

  1. Confirm interest with Mark Sullivan
  2. Determine a collection spot for donations (typically in your office/building’s lobby).
  3. You will be provided with all materials for collection and marketing collateral, including a wish list for donations, to promote internally within your organization.
  4. We provide a weekly pick-up of donations each Wednesday on request.
  5. We provide you with a news release template, which you can use to promote your participation should you wish to do so.
  6. Designate a point person within your company as a ‘Team Captain’ to collect all cash donations.
  7. To build excitement and support for your participation, Deb Anthony, Executive Director of Gather and Mark Sullivan, Founder of Pease n’ Carrots, will be available to come on-site for a kick-off rally to celebrate your participation.
