Jim is a retired technology executive and passionate volunteer with Gather. He spent the last seven years of his career with RStudio/Posit, a Certified Benefit Corporation, where he led revenue growth balanced with a committed contribution to the community in the form of freely available open-source analytics tools. His earlier career was spent in high growth companies with an emphasis on sales, operations, hiring and team development.   

Jim graduated from Dartmouth College in 1984 with a degree in Computer Science and is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy here on the Seacoast. In his free time, Jim enjoys woodworking, cycling, travel and family.
