Joe grew up in Hampton, graduated from UNH, and holds a law degree from Suffolk University.  In 2022, Joe retired after spending over 22 years as in-house counsel for the Eastman Kodak Company in upstate NY.  Joe and his wife Cathy were happy to return to NH and now live in Rye.   

In keeping with his desire to "pay it forward," Joe decided to spend the next chapter in his journey by engaging in volunteer activities that improve the lives of others in different stages of their journey.  Joe quickly learned about the mission of Gather and, as one who loves to prepare and share good meals, he decided to begin volunteering for Gather. He has absolutely loved helping others to overcome food insecurity.  Joe also volunteers with the Score organization, helping young people starting new businesses and with the Blue Ocean Society, helping to preserve the marine environment for current and future generations.  Joe loves the beach and taking sunrise photos almost every morning.
