Rebecca Barnwell
Associate Director of Institutional Giving

Rebecca joined Gather in October 2024, bringing over 15 years of experience raising funds for grassroots organizations, national nonprofits, and universities. She spent six years leading revenue generation efforts for the National Center for Families Learning, cultivating successful relationships with national foundations, corporate donors, and government agencies. She has managed large-scale fundraising events, conducted donor wealth analysis and research, and forged collaborative community partnerships to advance nonprofit missions. A Portsmouth, New Hampshire native, Rebecca is excited to join a cause that contributes directly to the Seacoast community where she was raised. Throughout her professional career and volunteerism, she has witnessed the immense challenges that food insecurity creates for individuals. She is proud to help advance an organization that addresses the region's hunger using intentional approaches that engage local food systems and mitigate food waste.

Rebecca returned to New Hampshire in 2018 after spending 10 years living in the Southeastern United States. An avid traveler, she loves to explore and learn about other countries and cultures. She lives on a hobby farm outside of Concord, NH with her husband Paul, and enjoys growing vegetables and flowers, hiking and running, and fawning over cute animals.
